AN INSIDER'S GUIDE TO PARIS

TRAVEL DIARY

Paris – there's more than a few travel guides for the city of lights, and for obvious reasons with its charming streets, iconic landmarks and the eclectic lifestyles of its inhabitants. We made the French capital (and culture capital of the world) our location for a new season of campaigns; taking in the endless boulevards and world-famous eateries in between Olympic shoot schedules. Now back, we’ve built the guide to Paris we wished existed, one for the it-girls who might want to be mistaken for Parisian.

THE PARISA DRESS

WHERE TO STAY

CHAPON II
Rue Chapon, 75003 Paris

Tucked away on one of Paris’ most-coveted streets, this exquisite 90 sqm apartment offers the perfect mix of high-end design and desirable Parisian lifestyle; and it doesn’t hurt to be surrounded by the prestigious galleries, eateries and showrooms of the ever-cool Marais district. What more could you ask for?

WHERE TO VISIT

Place de Mexico
75016 Paris, France
Av. Montaigne
75008 Paris, France
Av. de Camoens
75116 Paris, France

"My favourite place was the Av. de Camoens. It is a beautiful spot in Paris and it was easy to get so many amazing shots, not such a well-kept secret as it had once been with the number of tourists... but still!"
Freya Ramsden-Smith, Creative Coordinator

WHERE TO EAT

PHILIPPE CONTICINI
37 Rue de Varenne, 75007 Paris, France

After being inundated with the iconic patisserie's XXL croissants on socials, we had to stop by and give our two cents. The overall experience was nothing short of exceptional, from the picturesque Parisian corner store filled with delightful offerings to the oversized croissant itself, perfectly flaky and unbelievably buttery. We all made sure no crumb went to waste!

CAVIAR KASPIA
17 Pl. de la Madeleine, 75008 Paris, France
There’s simply no better place for a caviar lunch, says every A-lister on a Paris stop-by. The iconic restaurant, also regarded to be the “French fashion canteen” with its iconic diners from fashion designers and artists to royalty, is best known for a certain baked potato with caviar and it’s what we’d recommend if you order any one dish.

HOTEL COSTES
7 Rue de Castiglione, 75001 Paris, France
Strides away from the Louvre and Place Vendôme, this hotel restaurant and café keeps a regularly packed courtyard location thanks to its lavish gourmet dishes served from noon to the late hours of the night. Speaking from our own lunch break, expect decadent décor, great French fries and an inviting ambiance.

L'ENTRECÔTE DE PARIS
29 Rue de Marignan, 75008 Paris, France
Our search for the best frites continued with a lunch at this world-renowned steak restaurant, just off the Av. des Champs-Élysées. We’re guaranteed to make a trip back to the French capital for a shoot or three in the future, and one iconic meat, fries and secret sauce course has put L'Entrecôte de Paris in our address book forever.

"Highest point of the trip? Definitely the oversized croissant, the lowest was probably the fact we couldn’t stay longer."
Sarah Holden, Creative Director
